In my opinion, a therapist is a compassionate companion / witness / teacher on your journey to help you accomplish your personal goals, and overcome the symptoms that are keeping you from living the life you want.

Psychotherapy is not a quick fix, it takes time to heal no matter what the issue is — but in my personal experience, it is well worth it!
